Unlike other tablets, slim design to make a priority at the expense of performance, the Cintiq Companion is designed to be an elegant high-grade tool for artists and graphics professionals alike. The tablet is still pretty slim, measuring 0.7 by 14.8 by 9.8 inches (HWD) and weighs 3.9 pounds. It is heavier than either the Sony Vaio Duo 13 (2.9 pounds) or the Acer Aspire P3-171-6820 (1.7 pounds), and while that's a bit heavy for the long-term one-handed use, it is really meant as more of a portable press the display than an ultraportable tablet. Despite this, Wacom puts its own design touch tablet PC with fairly established. For example, the left-hand side of the tablet is coated with rubbery soft-touch paint, which provides superior grip and comfort when used with a digitizer pen in the right hand.
In the left corner of the tablet, you'll find the ubiquitous Windows button augmented with circular four-way rocker button (called the rocker ring) encircling the Windows button and offer common shortcuts, and four more buttons Express, which can be programmed with custom shortcuts to specific apps. The only issue with the buttons Express is that they require a firmer press than can expect, and when using your thumb, it is enough to disturb your workflow rather than speed things up.
But most of your navigation is done by touch, and it's where Wacom really shows off its expertise touch interface. The 13.3-inch display with a gorgeous IPS panel with 1920-by-1, 080 resolution, with a silky matte finish that reduces glare but also feel comfortable if you use a finger or a stylus as you swipe, tap, and draw. The touch display monitor up to ten points of contact simultaneously, allowing you to interact with all ten fingers, but it also works with the included Pro Wacom Pen
