 Apple MacBook Pro 15-inch (2013)
The Apple MacBook Pro 15-inch (2013) ($ 1,999 list) is the Retina Display-equipped systems that power users have been waiting for. Take great Retina Display upgrade last year and thinner chassis, then add a powerful Intel Core i7 processor with integrated graphics that plays like a separate graphics, and what do you get? This is the top of the laptop designed for über-picky power users who need to take their time-sensitive projects with them. This is our latest winner Choice Edtiors' for Desktop Replacement Laptop, and one of the highest grading system ever.

Design and Features
The new 15-inch MacBook Pro looks identical to the previous Apple MacBook Pro 15-inch (Retina Display), and it is no wonder, since last year's model has a new design. With both aluminum and glass construction The 2013 model, the same 15.4-inch, 2880-by-1800 resolution IPS display, and the same chiclet-style backlit keyboard. The 15-inch MacBook Pro has a pair of speaker grills flanking the keyboard. Aesthetically, it is a more balanced design, though they may miss not having as crunchers keypad for data entry spreadsheet. The sides of the chassis is vented to let air flow through the base of the laptop, cooling the processor and battery. The large multi-touch trackpad is centrally located and responded immediately to commands. The keyboard is comfortable to type on as the previous model, is stable, and is evenly backlit.

The MacBook Pro 15-inch (2013) carries over the excellent Retina display on the previous model. Touch screen is not disabled, but then again OS X is not optimized for touch, so you can hardly miss it. Many more apps are updated to take advantage of the Retina display than last year, so you'll just run blocky looking UI elements if you're using a really old version of a program. 2880-by-1800 screen system is novel last year, but will participate in greater than 1080p resolution through other systems such as Toshiba KIRABook with its 2560 by 1440 resolution screen, improved configuration of Sony VAIO Flip 15 (2880 through 1620), the Google Chromebook Pixel (64GB, LTE) (2560 through 1700), and the Samsung Ativ Book 9 Plus (3200 through 1800). Won the Samsung Ativ Book 9 Plus as pixel sweepstakes at this point, although we probably will not hear too many high-end Mac users complain about being short of Transition.

The 2880 by 1800 resolution screen on the MacBook Pro 15-inch (2013) is physically larger than the Samsung Ativ Book 9 Plus (15.4 inches vs. 13.3 inches, respectively), which explains the larger overall size MacBook's. The MacBook Pro 15-inch (2013) supports up to 4096 by 2160 resolution on an external display via HDMI. About the only nit we have Retina Display is that it has a matte finish option, which went away when Apple recently discontinued the previous generation of MacBook Pro 15-inch model.

The system fourth-generation Intel Core processor with Intel i7-4750HQ Iris Pro 5200 graphics are an improvement over the previous model year with a third-generation Core processor i7-3615QM, as you can see below section performance. 256GB of flash storage system based on PCIe instead of SATA-based, which helps speed file transfer operations and loading the app now. In exterior, the system has HDMI, USB 3.0, and the SD card reader on the right, another USB 3.0 port, MagSafe 2 connector, headset, and two Thunderbolt ports 2. 2 Thunderbolt support a higher bandwidth than 20Gbps to 10Gbps Thunderbolt port that appeared on the Mac since early 2011 Thunderbolt device is fully compatible with the Thunderbolt 2 port, but it remains to be seen how quickly the users and device manufacturers adopt Thunderbolt 2 when the selection of regular Thunderbolt products is still fairly limited. As in the past, the Thunderbolt 2 port can be used for either the Thunderbolt or Mini-DisplayPort monitor. The system has 802.11ac Wi-Fi networking, but you'll have to use a USB to Ethernet adapter or some-based Thunderbolt docking station to get wired Ethernet connectivity.

One of the big news stories from October Apple event is the inclusion of the updated Apple iLife and iWork software suite includes Apple Apple OS X 10.9 Mavericks, updated operating system for Apple Macs. This means you can use the MacBook Pro 15-inch (2013) right off the bat with fully functional business, content creation, and entertainment software suite. This flies in the face of the system with Microsoft Windows 8 and 8.1 OS, which do not include the Office, unless you count the time-limited trial gets you every new PC. The other additions to OS X 10.9 Mavericks works well, so the built in FaceTime HD 720p camera. As the latest crop of Apple MacBook Air models, the new MacBook Pro 15-inch (2013) has a new dual microphone array to help FaceTime conversations. The MacBook Pro 15-inch (2013) has a standard one-year warranty with 90 days of 24/7 technical support.
