Acer Chromebook 13 (CB5-311-T9B0)
The Acer Chromebook 13 (CB5-311-T9B0) ($ 299.99 as tested) is in the cutting edge of Chromebook category, thanks to a new NVIDIA Tegra processor K1, the first CPU with an NVIDIA-based Chrome laptop. Acer has been towards the front of the Chromebook trend since late 2012, when it started repurposing old netbook designs for new Google-powered category, and remained with earlier features like touch functionality, such as seen in the Editors' Choice Acer Chromebook C720P- 2600 but staying out front is not always easy, and while the Tegra based Chromebook 13 with great features, like a 1080p display and excellent battery life works, the overall experience wind up feeling like more of the same.

design
The Acer Chromebook 13 Mimics another standout Chromebook, Acer C720P-2600, with white polycarbonate chassis that looks pretty bright. The only downside to a laptop made of white plastic helps it scuffs easily, and shows every smudge and Grime spot. The slim, fanless design measures just 0.71 by 12.9 by 9 inches (HWD), and weighs 3.31 pounds. That is a full pound heavier than the HP Chromebook 11 (2.3 pounds), but not close to the same size weight CB35-A3120 Toshiba Chromebook (£ 3.17).

Unlike many 11-inch Chromebook we tested, proud of this system with a 13-inch display. It is not without competition, Toshiba has CB35-A3120 Chromebook (and recently announced its successor), while the HP Pavilion Chromebook has 14 but the majority of the system Chrome have smaller display. It boasts a Full HD (1920-by-1080) resolution. The display is not perfect, by any means, with a slightly washed-out colors and narrow viewing angle, and I would have liked to see the same kind of In-Plane Switching (IP) display HP Chromebook 11 May

Despite the larger chassis, the Chromebook 13 have the same size keyboard as the 11-inch Acer C720P, with the same comfortable, but shall act to Chrome type and layout. A decently sized touchpad resting just below the spacebar, and is the same white color of the laptop chassis. The touch sensor is clickable, and Chrome supports gestures, like two fingers tapping and scrolling.
